わたしも同じです。今日のコーディネイトのオリジナルは、上のSteveの装いです。

わたしのデニムジャケットはLee101Jです。Steveが着ているデニムジャケットはLee101Jのようにも見えますが、不明です。でも、別に同じブランドである必要はないかと思います。要は雰囲気の問題なのですから。
My denim jacket is Lee101J. The denim jacket Steve is wearing looks like Lee101J, but I’m not sure. But I don’t think it has to be the same brand. It’s all about the atmosphere.

The reason I impulsively bought this Hermes bag was because I happened to come across this bag, called the Attelage, in an Hermes boutique.

この映画を見ていて、アラン・ドロンの横にいる共演のリノ・ヴァンチュラは、使い古された感じのエルメスのオータクロアを持っています。バーキンを男性が持っていると嫌味な感じがするのですが、多分、オータクロアはかなりでかいバッグだからかな、リノのスーツ姿に似合っていてイカして見えたのです。
While watching this movie, Alain Delon’s co-star Lino Ventura was carrying a worn-out Hermes Haut a Courroies bag. I think it’s not cool for a man to carry a Birkin bag ladys are favorite, but perhaps because the Haut a Courroies bag is quite large, it suited Lino’s suit and looked cool.

I wanted to own this Haute Couture bag, so one day, while I was browsing in an Hermès boutique, not expecting to find it, I came across this bag called the Attelage.
このバッグは、その日に入荷したばかりだったそうです。妻に聞くと、バーキンなどの人気バッグにも偶然出会うことがあるので「エルメス・パトロール」をする女性もいるそうですね。

The shoes are J.M.Weston 180 loafers that I bought in Paris on my honeymoon with my wife in 1989.
妻はブラウン、わたしはブラックと色違いでこのJ.M.Westonの180ローファーを今も履いています。
My wife still wears these J.M. Weston 180 loafers in brown and I wear them in black.
ソールを張り替えたりしながら今でも大切に履いています。2024年の今から35年前の靴なので、ところどころひび割れてる箇所もありますが、愛着があります。
I still wear them carefully, replacing the soles as I go. They are 35 years old now, so they have some cracks in them, but I still love them.
1989年当時、シャンゼリゼ通りのJ.M.Westonの店は、とても素敵でした。お店の中に妻と入ると、中には靴が置いてなくてソファーが並んでいるだけ。
In 1989, the J.M. Weston store on the Champs-Élysées was very fabulous. When my wife and I walked in, there were no shoes inside, just a row of sofas.
中央カウンターにエプロンをつけたコンシェルジェのようなおじいさんがいてフランス語で何か喋ってます。なんとなく「どの靴が欲しい？」と聞かれてるのだろうと思い、「Loafers Please」と答えるとソファーに座るように促され、わたしと妻の足のサイズを計ってくれ、お店の奥から、ローファーを持ってきてくれました。この想い出の靴が今だに履けるって幸せです。
There was a concierge-like old man wearing an apron at the central counter, speaking something in French. I somehow thought he was asking me “Which shoes do you want?”, so I answered “Loafers please” and he invited us to sit on the sofa. He measured my wife and my foot size, and brought us a pair of loafers from the back of the store. I’m happy that I can still wear these shoes that remind me of those memories.
