いつもは、KITONやCesare Attoliniなどのクラシック・イタリアン・アイテムを着用することが多いですが、パリのメンズストア「アナトミカ」も大好きなブランドです。東京をはじめ全国にもアナトミカの支店があります。
I usually wear classic Italian items such as KITON and Cesare Attolini, but I also love the Parisian men’s store Anatomica, which has branches all over Japan, including Tokyo.
アナトミカは、パリのエッセンスとアメカジが組み合わさった独特のセンスを持っているブランドとわたしは思っています。アナトミカ・パリの店主であるピエール・フルニエさんと国内のアナトミカを経営されているサーティファイブサマーズの寺本欣児さんがカッコいいオジさんであるのも、アナトミカが好きな理由でもあります。
I think Anatomica is a brand with a unique style that combines the essence of Paris with American casual style. Another reason I like Anatomica is that Pierre Fournier, the owner of Anatomica Paris, and Kinji Teramoto of Thirty-Five Summers, who runs Anatomica stores in Japan, are both cool older men.
今日のスタイリングは、ボタンダウンシャツ以外は、すべてアナトミカで販売されているアイテムを使いました。ジャケットは、アナトミカ・オリジナルのドルマンジャケットです。アイルランド「MAGEE」社のドネガルツィード生地を使ったもので、味わいがある生地であることと、とても着心地が良いので、気に入っています。この生地はクレージー・ヘリンボーンと呼ばれているようです。
In today’s styling, I used all the items sold at Anatomica, except for the button-down shirt. The jacket is an Anatomica original dolman jacket. It’s made from Donegal tweed fabric by the Irish company MAGEE, and I love it because it’s a tasteful fabric and very comfortable to wear. This fabric is apparently called crazy herringbone.
インナーは、ボタンダウンシャツの上に濃い紫色の1プライ・シェットランド・セーター。パリのアナトミカに2020年に行った時に店主のピエールさんからプレゼントしてもらった想い出の品です。
The inner layer is a dark purple one-ply Shetland sweater worn over a button-down shirt. It’s a memorable gift from Pierre, the owner of Anatomica Paris, when I visited the store in 2020.
このセーターは1本撚りの糸で編み込まれていて、肩や脇に縫い目がなく編み上げられているのも特徴です。薄手なのですが、暖かいし、ジャケットの下に着ても気にならないので、とても気に入っています。下の写真を見ていただくと、糸から髪の毛のような薄い繊維が全体に出ていますが、この自然な雰囲気も好きです。アナトミカのオンラインストアでも購入できるようですが、店頭で手に取ってみて、アナトミカのスタッフの人から、このセーターにまつわる蘊蓄を聞いてから購入されるのもよいかもしれません。
It’s knitted with a single-ply yarn and features no seams at the shoulders or sides. It’s thin but warm, and I love it because it doesn’t bother me even when worn under a jacket. If you look at the photo below, you can see that the yarn has thin, hair-like fibers sticking out all over it, and I also like this natural look. It’s available for purchase from Anatomica’s online store, but it might be a good idea to ask the store staff about the details of this sweater before purchasing it .
トラウザーズは、寺本さんとピエールさんが共同デザインしたアナトミカ・オリジナルの618ジーンズ。私が愛用している618ジーンズの生地はモール・スキンです。古いUS NAVYの作業パンツに見られる脇に縫い目のないノーサイドシームであることも特徴の一つ。618という名前は、黄金比「1:1.618」が由来だそうです。アナトミカでは、618ジーンズは、オールデンに一番似合うジーンズと紹介していますが、私もそう思います。
The trousers are Anatomica’s original 618 jeans, co-designed by Teramoto and Pierre. The 618 jeans I love are made from moleskin fabric. One of their defining features is the no-side seam design, reminiscent of old US Navy work pants. The name 618 apparently comes from the golden ratio of 1:1.618. Anatomica recommends the 618 jeans as the pair that best complements Aldens, and I agree.
私が推薦するまでもなく、知っている人は多いかもしれませんが、この618ジーンズはオールデンを愛用している人にはぜひ試して欲しいです。例えば、ベージュのコーデュロイ（下写真）などは私も欲しいと思っています。アナトミカのオンラインストアで購入できます。
While many people may already know this, I highly recommend these 618 jeans to anyone who loves Aldens. I’d love to own a pair, for example, in beige corduroy (pictured below). They’re available for purchase at the Anatomica online store.
靴は、アナトミカ別注のオールデンです。モデル名は、レンジャーモックといいます。私はこの靴と出会うまでは、ジョンロブやエドワードグリーン、ボノーラ、ストールマンテラッシなど英国やイタリアの靴を愛用していました。でも、今は、アナトミカのピエールさんがオールデン社に技術的に注文をつけて製造されたオールデンばかり履くことが多いです。先日も久しぶりにジョンロブの靴を履いて出かけたら、夕方には足が痛くなってきましたが、アナトミカ別注のオールデンは一日中履いていても快適なのです。今のところ、アナトミカ別注のオールデンは３つ愛用しています。
The shoes I’m wearing are a pair of Aldens made exclusively for Anatomica. The model name is Ranger Moc. Before I discovered these shoes, I was a fan of British and Italian shoes, such as John Lobb, Edward Green, Bonora, and SUTOR MANTELLASSI. However, these days, I mostly wear Aldens, which are manufactured by Pierre at Anatomica, who has provided Alden with technical instructions. The other day, I went out wearing John Lobb shoes for the first time in a while, and by the evening my feet started to hurt, but the Anatomica-made Aldens are comfortable enough to wear all day. So far, I’ve been wearing three pairs of Anatomica-made Aldens.
