カシミアは冬には欠かせないファブリックですよね。ここでは、わたしが愛用しているカシミア100%のコート２着を動画とともにご紹介します。
Cashmere is an essential fabric for winter. Here, I’d like to introduce two of my favorite 100% cashmere coats, along with a video.
１着目はライトブラウンのコートでフランスの高級生地ブランドであるドーメルのカシミア生地で仕立てたものです。購入したのは、ドーメル青山ブティックで仕立ては、日本を代表する縫製工場であるミユキソーイングです。
The first coat is a light brown one made from cashmere by Dormeuil, a luxury French fabric brand. I purchased it at the Dormeuil Aoyama boutique and it was tailored by Miyuki Sewing, one of Japan’s leading sewing factories.
購入したのは2018年ごろだったかと思いますが、当時、ドーメルジャポン代表を務められていた加賀美 由加里さんとのご縁で、ドーメル青山で購入させていただいたものです。加賀美さんとは今も親しくしていただいています。
I think I bought it around 2018 at Dormeuil Aoyama thanks to my connection with Yukari Kagami , who was the representative of Dormeuil Japon at the time. I remain close friends with Kagami-san to this day.
生地マーチャントとして長い歴史を持つドーメルのカシミアなので、そのカシミア生地には独特の艶と色気があります。また、仕立てもイタリア製品に引けを取らないクオリティがあります。もし、カシミアコート選びを検討されるなら、ドーメル青山で仕立てるカシミアコートはおすすめできます。ドーメルは生地ブランドであり、KITONなどファッションブランドの記号はないですが、長く愛用できる良いコートです。
Dormeuil has a long history as a fabric merchant, so its cashmere has a unique luster and sensuality. The tailoring is also of a quality comparable to that of Italian products. If you are considering choosing a cashmere coat, we recommend one tailored by Dormeuil Aoyama. Dormeuil is a fabric brand and does not carry the trademarks of fashion brands like KITON, but it is a great coat that you can wear for a long time.
当時の価格は25万円ぐらいだったと思いますが、今は円安になっているので、このクラスのカシミアコートだと30万円は超えるかもしれません。
I think the price at the time was around 250,000 yen, but now that the yen is weak, a cashmere coat of this class may cost over 300,000 yen.
二つ目の動画のコートは、KITONのカシミアコートです。スポルベリーノとよばれるコートでシングルピークドラペル、背面にポロコート風のバックベルトがついていること、袖ボタンがないことが特徴です。
The coat in the second video is a cashmere coat from KITON. It is called a Sporbellino and is characterized by its single peak lapel, a polo coat-style back belt, and the lack of sleeve buttons.
このタイプのコートが欲しいと思ったのは、フィレンツェのメンズショップTIE YOUR TIE創業者のフランコ・ミヌッチさんがこのタイプのコートを着用されているのをファッション雑誌で見かけたことでした。
I wanted this type of coat after seeing Franco Minucci, founder of the Florence men’s shop TIE YOUR TIE, wearing one in a fashion magazine.
このスポルベリーノのコートは既製品ではあまり見かけませんが、2019年の秋にKITON銀座にふらっと入った時に発見しました。ただ、価格が100万円近くしたので、試着したものの、購入は躊躇して店を出ました。ところが、半年ぐらい経った頃だったか、試着したものと同じものが、リユースショップのKOMEHYO銀座店（現在閉店）で未使用品として並んでいました。価格は1/4の25万円だったので、即決で購入しました。
This Sporbellino coat is not often seen ready-made, but I discovered it when I wandered into KITON Ginza in the fall of 2019. However, it was priced at nearly 1 million yen, so although I tried it on, I hesitated to buy it and left the store. However, about six months later, I found the same coat I tried on, unused, on display at the KOMEHYO Ginza store (now closed), a second-hand shop. The price was 250,000 yen, a quarter of the original price, so I bought it immediately.
さすがはKITONのカシミアコートなので、100万円という定価に相応しい品格が感じられるものです。多分、今なら、150万ぐらいはするかもしれませんね。
As you would expect from a KITON cashmere coat, it exudes a sense of elegance befitting its list price of 1 million yen. It would probably go for around 1.5 million yen now.
最近、リユースストアにはあまり行っていないので、状況が変わっているかもしれませんが、KITONなどのハイブランドは直営店では50％オフなどのセールはブランドイメージの観点からできないので、KOMEHYOさんなどのリユースストアに未使用商品が流れてくるケースがあるようです。わたしは、偶然、欲しいKITONのコートに出会えたのでとても良い買い物ができました。
I haven’t been to reuse stores much recently, so the situation may have changed, but high-end brands like KITON can’t hold sales like 50% off at their direct stores for reasons of brand image, so it seems that unused products end up at reuse stores like KOMEHYO. I happened to find the KITON coat I wanted, so it was a great purchase.
もちろん、KITONの直営店で購入するのが気分も良いし、おすすめですが（笑）。私自身、伊勢丹新宿メンズのKITONショップで、秋冬物のスーツを購入した時はとても高揚感がありました。
Of course, it’s also a good feeling to buy from a KITON direct store, so I recommend it (lol). Personally, I felt very elated when I purchased an autumn/winter suit at the KITON shop in Isetan Shinjuku Men’s.
