The light blue shawl collar cardigan is from SVEVO, an Italian luxury knitwear brand. The one I use regularly was specially ordered by TIE YOUR TIE Aoyama (now closed) from SVEVO. While SVEVO appears to be independently owned, it is under the KITON group, and I believe KITON-branded knitwear is made by SVEVO.

My favorite SVEVO cashmere shawl collar cardigans are both about 10 years old, but they haven’t pilled and are still in good condition, just like the day I bought them. They’re such wonderful knitwear. They’re tightly knitted with low-gauge cashmere, so they’re incredibly warm. Looking at the SVEVO website (as of January 2026), they also have shawl collar cardigans, so I think they’re a staple knitwear item that’s essential for men’s winter wear.

Coincidentally, I saw on the SVEVO website that I was pairing them with a white T-shirt and off-white pants, just like my style. The one in the photo below is handmade, 100% cashmere, and costs €1,215. At 1 euro = 180 yen, that comes to ¥218,700. Many people might think it’s impossible for a piece of knitwear to cost over ¥200,000, but I’ve been wearing it for 10 years, so a simple calculation would say it costs ¥20,000 a year. I recommend high-quality knitwear, as it can probably be worn for 20 years.
